AzurPoly has released update v1.1.1 for the OV-10 Bronco in Microsoft Flight Simulator, focusing on controls management improvements and bug fixes. A significant enhancement is the introduction of a new local variable (L var) for commanding the power lever axis, addressing the limitation of binding a controller axis to power levers due to custom code implementation. Users can now bind their axis to this variable using control software like FSUIPC or Spad, with detailed instructions provided in the manual. Additionally, a new option in the EFB allows for consistent axis detents on the ground and in flight, catering to users with a physical reverse zone on their controllers.
The update also includes several other improvements: modified propeller settings for better landing performance, realistic gyro animations, and various fixes such as making the copilot visible in the interior view, adding a click zone to hide and redisplay the yoke, and moving the cargo payload position for better aircraft balance. Other fixes address interior lights functioning with the master battery off, adapting units in the EFB based on user options, correcting radionavigation functionality without NAV panel power, adjusting the hydraulic pump sound range, and correcting the US flag orientation on the MEAC livery.
