The BravoAirspace project has introduced an upcoming 100% custom model of the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This payware model is unique and does not incorporate any modifications from other freeware planes available. The aim of the project is to deliver a highly detailed and realistic aircraft model within the constraints of the simulation platform. To avoid potential conflicts, the creators have chosen not to compare their work directly with other freeware options.
One of the key features of the BravoAirspace 787-8 is its custom flight model, which is distinct from the one provided by Asobo, the original developers of MSFS. However, the aircraft utilizes the Asobo cockpit and systems, which are part of the Deluxe Premium version of MSFS. This integration ensures that users who own the Deluxe Premium edition can enjoy the enhanced features and realistic experience offered by the BravoAirspace model.
Looking ahead, the developers plan to invest in a standalone cockpit that will enable them to include a Vertical Situation Display (VSD). This addition would further enhance the realism and functionality of the 787-8 model. The project has successfully addressed exterior accuracy, presenting a visually correct 787 for enthusiasts. However, it remains a requirement for users to have the premium deluxe edition of MSFS to access this custom model. The future developments and improvements for the 787-8 are anticipated with optimism.
