Glasgow Prestwick Airport (ICAO: EGPK) was officially opened in 1935, initially serving as a base for British Transatlantic flights. After WWII, Prestwick resumed civilian operations and was used as a base for aircraft deliveries. Since the new millennium, Prestwick Airport became known for its role as a hub for low-cost carriers, most notably Ryanair. Now Prestwick has two cross runways, 12/30 with size 9800 x 148 feet / 2987 x 45 meters, and 03/21 with size 6253 x 148 feet / 1906 x 45 meters.
Today UK2000 Scenery brings this Scottish airport to MSFS world. Based on HD photographic images, PBR materials and high detail models, UK2000 Scenery elevated the realism of this airport to a high new level.
