Airport Overview

RFSB (or Russian Federation Scenery Building) have released a much-awaited rendition of Brussels
South–Charleroi Airport International Airport in Belgium. This airport has been missing from our
simulators for a very long time and RFSB have delivered indeed. Located in the Country of Belgium
home to mainly TUI Belgium, Ryanair, Wizz Air, and other low-cost carriers EBCI is a one-runway
airport with expansion plans in the works that offers direct routes to almost 100+ destinations
around the mainland Europe. The Brussels South – Charleroi Airport is also used as international
hub for TUI Belgium, Ryanair and Wizz Air connecting various cities in Continental Europe via
Brussels Charleroi.

Airport Features

The RFSB product offers amazing features which take advantage of the latest P3D technologies
such as Dynamic Lighting and PBR Textures which are considered a must in today’s payware
quality product. RFSB have also included Custom airport building and a large number of custom
buildings outside the airport, Customize platform vehicles, Customized lighting runway, 3D light
mast lighting and lights on taxiing, Glass effect windows of buildings airport and vehicles and The
effect of wet on the platform during the rain. which give a great realistic feel to the airport and its
surroundings. Additionally, RFSB have also included SODE Animated Features which fit perfectly
with the airports size and main terminal offering multiple parking options via main terminal on
stand or remote positions.

An advantage to this product is also that it works seamlessly with any Autogen or Mesh product
for the area which is also available for P3D and gives the Airport a unique feel of the one close
products and real life feeling. All that needs to be done is placing RFSB ’s EBCI scenery above any
third-party mesh or Autogen addon in your scenery library config or via the XML method.

Modelling and Texturing

After carefully examining the terminal and its features, RFSB have used high quality textures and
have modelled all the major airport buildings. In addition, they have also included the soon to be
inaugurated runway expansion project which adds more takeoff runway making the airport ready
to host larger aircrafts such as the A340, B777 and more (Hopefully will be updated soon once
complete).

Without a doubt, the modelling is of top quality, the details included near the main terminal and
remote stands such as the custom lighting system and 3D Taxiway signs and surrounding airport photoreal addition which shows that RFSB have put a lot of effort and work into the product and
its features.

RFSB have also included a variety of ground vehicles which flawlessly go along with any ground
addon such as GSX.

Another important item which RFSB have included is the PAPI light system which is also an
amazing feature to have with its full functionality. The runway and taxiway details are also
fantastic.

Final Feedback

For Anyone who is looking to fly into EBCI Brussels South – Charleroi Airport in P3D. I would highly
recommend RFSB version as they have put extensive effort into their version whilst including all
the major and important P3D features such as PBR, custom runway lighting system and Dynamic
Lighting at the terminals. I look forward to the next update the RFSB will push out and hope that
they will be able to develop additional similar airports in this part of the region as there is a
shortage in our current market.
