awesome!!!
The best thing that can happen after 20 years of no development on the current networks! – I Love it! Can’t wait 😉
Well, we’d better wait to find out more about their pricing structure before ditching VATSIM/IVAO. If access is considered expensive by the majority of the user-base of the existing networks then I expect Rotate is going to be a very quiet place.
Also, this already exists, for US anyway – pilotedge. I tried the free demo month and they delivered. It’s great if you fly VFR and general aviation aircraft. I didn’t fly in their most covered area but had VFR flight following all the way, which was very realistic. It’s also great if you fly commercially in the western US in the covered states. It’s not so great if you fly all over the place.
@Alex: No its not. It is totally different to pilotedge. pilotedge is only offering service for the westcoast of the US and Rotate world-wide.
Also Rotate is offering that much more than any other Network out there like beeing an ATC and the corresponding deep simulated software. Their software is completely new and they are implementing things like a global livery database, real-time-sync and a lot of other tools around.
In my mind this is the next Network out there that will bring all the simmers together on one huge network. And paying a view bugs for this great service is a lot better than flying on old, outdated software at the current networks!
Every real simmer should help them to get theire or even our all project running!
