Finally 64bit – but I am tired of this whole upgrade thing.I note that from early Youtube clips, no great changes apart from 64bit and GPU recommended requirements (now 8Gb GPU memory). But it does get rid of the VAS bugbear.
I note that Lockheed’s approach to upgrades is very cash driven with little sympathy for casual users. I know, its not a charity but I am of two minds here – Lockheed makes excessive profits in the defence industry – Should I really be helping their profit margins (tiny tiny amount I know), by investing in P3D V4 and ignore their history of weapons and military industrial participation in this world.
(that’s a rhetorical question – I dont want an answer – just posing another angle on the whole thing.)
Behold you infidel, and bow your head to the god of 64-bit
😀
So be it..
Ray,
Welcome to capitalism. Regardless of how much they make, they are providing a service to you and you should expect to pay them every once in a while. We have had v3 for two years now, and v4 architecture will open up new possibilities. I’d rather pay them at that frequency and have them provide the updates they have then be more limited with my options with sims.
