A model 40 crashed in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon about 60 years ago. It was found after years of searching the area and taken to Spokane, Washington. Lovingly restored and flown again summer 2008. A beautiful picture can be found on http://www.airliners.net. Search for the photographer, Jim Raeder.
