Virtual Avionics already made the Virtual CDU to use a remote CDU for the PMDG Boeing 737 NGX or iFly 737 NG on your Android or iOS device.

Didn’t Aerosoft already add something similar in the Airbus X Extended? Browser based, not a standalone app, but still…
I’m not in the market for this anyway, but would be interesting to know where this is better (as in, €15 better…) than what Aerosoft did out of the box.
I remember Ian P trying this and he never got it to work properly.
Just gave it a try as well, and indeed, works less than optimal. So I stand corrected. 🙂
It’s super responsive and after purchasing the 737 version for the NGX earlier in the year it’s on par. It allows a much more realistic flying experience when working with the CDU. Totally Recommended 🙂 Also got it working in Prepar3d v2 no problem.
15€ are you kidding me?
I’ve tried the demo of the 737NG version and it’s great! On my LG G PAD it’s like to have a real FMC 🙂 Probably €15 it’s not cheap but there are no other apps like this… so…
It’s a great app. I use the NGX version on my iPad when i fly. 15 Euros is a good deal when you consider the hardware for a pc is well into the hundreds.
