The Austrian Railways (ÖBB) “railjet” push-pull electric set heads up three new releases for Dovetail Games’ Train Simulator 2014 now available at simMarket.
The ‘railjet‘ sets comprise six carriages and a control car, powered by a single multi-purpose Taurus electric locomotive. Currently operating on the Zurich-Vienna line in the real world, the sets comprise one of the fastest locomotive hauled trains in the world and are now available in a box set, developed by simTrain.ch and published by Aerosoft, here. Aerosoft’s SBB Route is required to run the included scenarios.
Also released are two sets of Northern Pacific rolling stock, from the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, published by Trains and Drivers. These are re-releases of stock previously available from Golden Age of Railroading and customers who already have that content will not find anything new in these sets.
