The city of Fairbanks in Alaska is one of the gateways to the United States’s most northerly state, with air services from numerous international carriers, as well as the smaller types in ERA Alaska colours, operating from its single primary and multiple subsidiary surfaces. The use of surfaces, rather than runways, is intentional, due to one being a small lake for floatplane operations and another a snow strip for skiplanes, only active during the winter.
In addition to the usual array of features expected from a Sim-Wings/Aerosoft release, this scenery comes with moving locomotives in the adjacent rail yard. Purchasers of the FSX version will also be eligible to receive the FS9 version when that is released, although its features list may vary from its newer sibling’s version. To see more, click here.
