Image Space Incorporated’s rFactor2 isn’t a racing sim we’ve mentioned much recently. but with release due later this year, the line-up of included cars and tracks is now being finalised.
The latest addition to the licensed content will be all cars involved in the FIA’s Formula 2 Championship, announced recently on the F2 website, here. The rFactor2 car has been developed in association with James Goodfield, Formula 2’s Chief Engineer, who is quoted as saying “We’re very pleased with the results and feel confident it will provide professional racing drivers, as well as amateurs, with a simulation as close to the real thing as possible.”
More details of rFactor2 can be found on ISI’s website, here, while the F2 series homepage can be found here, for those interested in the real cars, rather than simulated ones.
