My Favorite Chopper

…… is being developed by Aerosoft Germany ! When I was a kid the Vietnam war was as regular a topic on the evening news as Iraq’s bombings are today. And the distinct sound of the Bell UH-1D, better known as the ‘Huey’, was accompanying almost every news report in those days. So it also became my ‘favorite’ helicopter and the one I built quite a few times from plastic model kits.

Aerosoft has a designer working on it now (Charles Gunter) and Mathijs Kok posted a few of the early ‘design tool’ pictures to make our mouths water. THIS is one model I will make time for to review as soon as it hits the streets, be assured of that! So far it looks awesome and I for one can’t wait to get it up and flying in FSX !
