MS Flight sets heading to colder climes

There’s no mention of price, or what the “additional aircraft and missions” will be yet, but the development team at Microsoft have released a preview of Flight‘s future direction with three screenshots of their upcoming Alaska expansion pack.

There’s not a whole lot more to say than that, so we’ll leave you to check out the preview post and comments in response to the announcement yourself. Although you can probably guess what the comments say, already, as well!

  1. Ill wait for ORBX to be released, and continue to run UTA and Anchorage on FSX.

  2. Hi Paul, I’ve just seen ORBX’s video of Alaska and I have to say I think the Microsoft Flight screenshots and what I know about the improvements to the graphics engine in Flight it compares very well. There are actually a lot of ORBX influances in the Flight scenery detailing which I think was due to ORBX being onboard initially at the begining. I think Microsoft Flight Alaska will be really great and I can’t wait for it to be released!

    Cheers,
    Dave.

  3. Unless ORBX was ripped off by Microsoft! Which I think such as the other 3rd party developers! Screw MSFT not playing a game simulator!

  4. PS or is it BS. Beside how can you say you have seen ORBX Alaska unless you mean PF? Which works fine for me with Ketchikan. Tongans also works fine to me. Seen the detail in the real world from experience and the Sim world. Plus UTA by Flight1 and Anchorage as well as Dutch Harbor by Aerosoft are great addons. So don’t need the future crap for Alaska Flight nor Flight. Don’t need a game!
