Astrasim Goes Global and Announces Xtreme Simulation Weekend

Astrasim Expo wants to organize a great and International Simulation weekend between United Kingdom and Australia in 2011. Read their details below.

Ross has had much experience in organising events in Australia, however Ross will be joining Astrasim Expo Ltd and become Operations Director for the Pacific region.”

“John Marshall of Astrasim said “ Ross has been an inspiration in successfully delivering simulation events in the past, he possesses the qualities we were looking for, his enthusiasm, drive and passion for flight simulation is beyond reproach and I’m certain that Astrasim as a company can only benefit from this appointment”.

This is exciting new territory for both organizers says Ross Farquharson, the Event Director of Xtreme Simulation Weekend Oz. “To support an event that’s thousands of miles away, and despite the time difference, we will unite and celebrate this great hobby. The winners here are the flight simulation enthusiasts based in Australia and the United Kingdom.

In 2011 Astrasim will be holding one of the largest events ever witnessed across the globe. Two shows will take place simultaneously to create one Xtreme Weekend of Simulation.

The United Kingdom and Australia will be linked via the internet to create 48 hours of virtual nonstop fun and simulation for all.

The UK show will once again take place at RAF Museum Cosford, a venue praised highly, earlier this year by exhibitors and visitors alike. In Australia the event will take place at Luna Park Big Top in Sydney.
