I bought Iris first version of the Texan for FSX. This came with the promise that of on-going development and upgrades – instead Iris developed a version 2 of the Texan and sold this as a seperate product. They said if purchase details were emailed in, there would be a discount on the version 2 for version 1 owners. I emailed my details three times and never got a response. I am left feeling that Iris was very disingenous with respect to their original and on-going intentions.
Er, to quote the simmarket page that is actually linked above – but whcih you obviously couldn’t be bothered to read:
“If you previously purchased IRIS PRO SERIES – T-6/A TEXAN II at simMarket, you are entitled for a free upgrade. Simply purchase the product and you will not be charged. NOTE: The special upgrade price will be awarded automatically, therefore you must be logged into your same account used to purchase the previous version! If in doubt contact simMarket support first! NO REFUNDS GIVEN!”
So looks like you bought it from the wrong vendor! And how many times have we heard THAT little line!?
