The H145 and H160 helicopters of Hype Performance Group are compatible with both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. To install them in MSFS 2024, start by finding your MSFS 2024 Community Folder, following the provided video guide. Then, move the required folders from your MSFS 2020 community folder to the MSFS 2024 community folder. These folders include the respective H145 and H160 aircraft, user setups, and additional files like the HATWS data and the PMS50 GTN750 instrument. Additionally, make sure to install the PMS50 GTN750 from the provided link for enhanced navigation support.
There are important operational notes to be aware of. When starting the aircraft in MSFS 2024, fuel is not automatically loaded, so users will need to add fuel manually using the HPG Electronic Flight Bag (EFB). Also, avoid using the PAUSE or ACTIVE PAUSE function during flight, as it will disrupt the collective control; however, it is fine to use these functions while the helicopter is on the ground. When starting Cold and Dark (C&D) in MSFS 2024, use the Shift + C command to enter the cockpit. Lastly, the TDS GTNXi is currently blocked in MSFS 2024, but Asobo has confirmed that a fix is in progress.
This “No Pausing issue” has to be sorted out.
