PILOT’S Boeing B-314 “The Clipper” MSFS has been updated to version 1.72, featuring various refinements across all models. Key improvements include updates to fuel pressure code and fixes for flight engineer panel animations, specifically the fuel flow gauge needle. The airspeed needle code has been corrected to display speed in knots rather than miles per hour, and the reversed aileron trim needle animation has been addressed.
Significant enhancements were made to the Gyropilot, adding functionalities like heading hold, heading change, pitch hold, and pitch change modes, along with additional clickspots for altitude hold and vertical mode adjustments. The Radio Operator Station now includes a tuneable ADF, with tracking visible via deflection needles, while the Navigator station’s map is now clickable to cycle through available maps. Lastly, a fix has been applied to the First Officer compass on the B-314A model, which was previously non-operational. Special acknowledgment goes to OTBU for contributions to the Gyropilot improvements.
