FlightBeam Studios has released update 1.2 for their KSFO Captain’s Edition for Microsoft Flight Simulator, featuring several enhancements and fixes. Key improvements include the addition of pink geographic position markings on certain taxiways, custom directional taxiway lights (with TAA recommended), and the relocation of windsocks to their accurate locations. They also introduced custom ILS Glideslope antenna models and options in Contrail to control gate clutter density—this option helps prevent collisions with GSX GSE and is not available for Marketplace purchases.
In addition to these major updates, the patch addresses several issues. This includes fixing floating groove marks on runways 19L and 19R and adjusting light poles for improved lighting effects. Various other tweaks and fixes round out the update, further refining the overall experience at San Francisco International Airport in the simulator.
