miniCockpit has announced an update of their Data Link Software for their miniFCU product, now supporting the Fenix A319/321 and the iniBuilds A320neo (MSFS 2020 A320neo V2). While the Fenix A319/321 are fully supported, there are some limitations with the iniBuilds A320neo, including the lack of Dots implementation and an issue with the FPA indication, which the company plans to address in future updates.
Users attempting to download the updated software might encounter a false Trojan warning from Microsoft Defender. miniCockpit is working with Microsoft to resolve this issue and advises users to temporarily disable Windows Defender if they wish to download the software immediately. They assure customers that the software is safe to use.
In terms of hardware, miniCockpit is currently manufacturing more parts of the upcoming miniEFIS. They plan to begin selling once they have sufficient stock available, ensuring that all customers can obtain the updated miniFCU and miniEFIS devices. They also shared the blueprint of their miniEFIS products with its dimensions that may be useful for homecockpit builders for the preparation of their furniture.
