Fenix Simulations has released its roadmap for 2025 in a blog post, promising significant updates and additions to their aircraft lineup.
A320neo and A321neo: A New Era
The first highlight of the year is a comprehensive update refining the A320 family, especially the A320neo and A321neo. These will feature a completely new ECAM system, reflecting the standards of the NEO versions. This isn’t just a superficial change; it’s a deep reconstruction of all aircraft system architectures, from sensors to batteries.
Fenix has thoroughly revised other systems as part of the NEO series. The new DRAIMS panel is fully digital, replacing the old ACP. While the NEO will be equipped with CFM LEAP or GTF engines, the CEO (Current Engine Option) version will also receive an extensive overhaul, including the latest ECAM version.
Owners of both models will benefit from a modernized CEO, equipped with the new ECAM version and the latest NEO features, without the compromises of the old system. This additional model will be released after the NEO rollout.

A319SL and More
The “Big Fenix Update” (BFU) includes the introduction of the A319 Sharklets with CFM and IAE engines, the CFM variant featuring the more powerful B7 engine. The landing dynamics have been reworked based on real flight data for more realistic behavior. The fly-by-wire systems have also been optimized based on extensive tests and data.
New Features and Improvements
- Integration of Lido charts from MSFS2024 into the EFB.
- Revised user interface for calculating V-Speed data and displaying stop margins.
- Improved compatibility for MSFS 2024, with support for walkaround mode and functional external panels like the fuel panel.
- Weather radar integration.

Sound
The sound sets have been reworked, including a new 3D-AEVC sound set and an updated IAE V2500 sound system. The landing sound capture system has also been improved.
An exciting year ahead for Fenix users
The Fenix update promises to elevate the entire A320 family experience. With the comprehensive overhaul of the A320ceo models, the introduction of the NEO, and the optimization of many system interfaces, Fenix is demonstrating its ambition and focus on realistic simulation experiences.
