FSLTL has released a new update for its Traffic Injector, version 1.6.8, which is now available through the FBW Installer. This update addresses several bug fixes and includes improvements related to the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (MSFS2024), although the team reaffirms its current stance on MSFS2024 support.
Bug Fixes:
- UserCfg.opt Compatibility: The update fixes an issue caused by changes in the UserCfg.opt file in the MSFS2024 SU2 beta. These changes had previously broken the injector’s ability to locate the user’s Community folder.
- FR24 Data Processing: A bug was fixed where the injector would not correctly remove a VFR-injected aircraft with updated FR24 data that included both origin and destination, in order to re-inject it as IFR.
- Duplicate Aircraft Injection: An issue was resolved where an IFR aircraft, set to be injected as parked and having the same origin and destination, might be injected twice.
Improvements:
- MSFS2024 Compatibility: The update includes adjustments to the timing and wording of injector console window and log notifications related to AI aircraft states in MSFS2024, as these are slightly different from MSFS2020.
Important Note on MSFS2024 Support:
The developers of FSLTL have clarified that this update does not change their current stance on supporting MSFS2024. In fact, the initial SU2 appears to be worse for AI than SU1. The team will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates as necessary.
To get the update, users can use the FBW Installer.
