Aerosoft has announced a comprehensive revision of the popular regional jet CRJ for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The new version, Aerosoft CRJ v2, will be released on March 25, 2025, and brings numerous new features and improvements. This version will be available for both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 and offers a variety of adjustments and enhancements.

New Features and Improvements

The CRJ v2 will feature a completely redesigned cabin and a revised flight model. In addition, the integration of Navigraph Charts has been fully implemented. Further changes include numerous bug fixes and improved adaptability of the aircraft. A complete changelog will be provided with the release to show all the new features in detail.

Compatibility and Availability

Of particular note is that the CRJ v2 will finally be available on the Xbox, for both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024. This expansion means full compatibility on all platforms, increasing accessibility for a larger user base.

Pricing and Upgrade Options

The CRJ v2 is offered as a complete package that includes the following variants of the aircraft:

• CRJ 550
• CRJ 700
• CRJ 900
• CRJ 1000

The price for the complete bundle is €49.99 (incl. VAT). For users who already own version 1 of the Aerosoft CRJ, the upgrade to version 2 will be provided free of charge. Regardless of the version purchased, all v1 customers will also receive the other versions of the CRJ for free.
