Upcoming Upgrade Expansion for MSFS24 and MSFS20
Showcased in live test during the event at Lelystad National Aviation Museum, Leonardo Software House revealed to the visitors what to expect from their upcoming upgrade expansion.
It will be a paid and optional upgrade, that will require minimum the Base Pack MD-82. ANd the upgrade will be usable in both or either MSFS2020 and MSFS2024.
They have worked on many aspects of the product and have taken in account the users feedback. Since their aircraft systems and advanced features like the Electronic Flight Bag that supports Navigraph charts and Simbrief flightplan import are already satisfying, they focused on revamping the textures, visuals, particularly in the 3D virtual cockpit and on producing a new soundset to reproduce the engines audio effects.
Applying these improvements is not only about designing new textures. The Italian team is using new design techniques documented by Microsoft that allows at the same a visual enhancement and a better performance for higher framerates.
You will also enjoy several cosmetic features like the functional No-Smoking and Fasten Seatbelt signs in the cabin.
It was still too early for them to publish preview screenshots or a video on the web, so we only have this report to share with you.
