During FSWeekend 2025, SoFly announced the upcoming release of Hannover Airport (EDDV) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The airport scenery, developed in collaboration with SkyHigh Studios, is said to be SoFly’s most detailed release yet.

The scenery will feature high-quality ground textures, detailed 3D modeling of terminal interiors, and an accurate layout of the airport. Additionally, the Interactive Scenery Technology, previously implemented in other SoFly sceneries like Ohrid and Cardiff Airport, will be included.

This technology offers interactive features such as automatic doors, moving escalators, and a bus that follows a fixed schedule around the airport, complete with interactive signage and advertisements. Dynamic snow buildup and other yet-to-be-announced interactive elements are also planned.

Hannover Airport, located about 11 km north of Hannover, is a key international hub in Lower Saxony, Germany. With its three terminals and two parallel runways, the airport handles both domestic and international flights and serves as a vital cargo gateway for Europe.

The release of this scenery is scheduled for Spring 2025, with SoFly promising to share further details in the coming weeks.
