TFDi Design MD-11 – Update 1.0.49

TFDi Design has released update 1.0.49 for its MD-11 aircraft. This update brings a number of improvements and bug fixes.

New Features:

  • AUTOPILOT SINGLE Alert: A new alert has been added for “AUTOPILOT SINGLE” mode.
  • VOR/APPR Mode: Needles and a deviation bar have been added to VOR/APPR mode.
  • V-SPEED Exports: V-SPEED exports have been added.
  • Third NAV DISPLAY Functionality: Third NAV DISPLAY functionality has been added.

Bug Fixes:

The update addresses a variety of issues, including:

  • ND range text alignment in MSFS
  • 500-foot RA callout size on the PFD
  • PFD pitch ladder line thickness
  • Radar and mode alignment on the ND
  • PDWs not clearing after flight completion
  • Inability to delete PDWs via the DEFINED WAYPOINT page
  • Various display alignment issues between P3D and MSFS
  • Flight director drawing order on the PFD
  • Incorrectly shaped PFD stick shaker/stall indicator
  • Incorrectly sized aircraft symbol on the split axis PFD
  • Green track diamond drawing over compass ticks on the PFD
  • Missing FD bar shadow
  • PFD stall flag position
  • Incorrectly sized vertical speed geometry on the PFD
  • Missing horizontal diamond on the vertical speed display
  • Ignition engaging when setting takeoff flaps instead of takeoff thrust
  • FPLN and tuned VOR coexisting on the ND
  • Incorrect VOR pointer usage in relation to bearing to point
  • Autoflight turning the wrong direction in certain corners
  • Initial state of FMS/systems being affected by strange values in MSFS during loading
  • Altitude restrictions displaying as FL incorrectly on the ND
  • Simbrief import not correctly recognizing and importing H format coordinates
  • Simbrief import breaking due to DCT*-type legs
  • Simbrief import not importing the last airway in the route
  • Issue with climb display between restrictions on the MCDU
