Asobo Studio today released the beta version of Sim Update 1 (1.3.13.0) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The update addresses a number of stability and performance issues, and brings improvements to gameplay and various modes within the simulator.
Key Changes at a Glance:
- Stability Improvements: The update fixes crashes that occurred when disabling packages, during online encounters with many players, and when approaching certain regions (especially on Xbox).
- Gameplay Adjustments: The player character’s camera movement has been sped up, and the control sensitivity for gamepads has been optimized.
- Career Mode Fixes: Crashes related to airport purchases and aircraft transfers in Career mode have been resolved.
- World Rendering: Incorrect textures on photogrammetry buildings and city lights have been corrected.
- Usability: A conflict popup has been added for using FS2020 and FS2024 content.
- Other Improvements: The update includes fixes for the Challenge League (Xbox), Free Flight mode (weather presets), the Travel Book, and the DevMode (SDK improvements).
