Navigraph has rolled out a significant update for Navigraph Charts, improving the online flying experience for VATSIM and other networks. A key highlight is the introduction of 171 custom aircraft icons, developed with the help of VATSIM Radar, making it easier to identify different aircraft types at a glance. This addition enhances situational awareness, allowing pilots to better recognize traffic during online flights.
Another useful feature now available is ATC frequency hover support, enabling users to quickly view sector and position details simply by hovering over them. This is available on desktop and browser versions of Navigraph Charts, improving access to critical air traffic control information. Additionally, various color adjustments have been made to improve visibility in both day and night modes, ensuring better readability of charts and traffic data.
Beyond these functional improvements, the update also includes bug fixes and stability enhancements, making the app more reliable and smoother in performance. Navigraph encourages users to update their apps via App Store, Google Play, or directly through the desktop application, where they will be prompted for the latest version. This update reflects Navigraph’s continued commitment to refining its services for flight simulation enthusiasts worldwide.
