The SWS Kodiak 100, one of the most acclaimed models for MSFS 2020, will be getting an update. The aircraft now includes a comprehensive Engine Indicating System with three pages: Engine, Fuel, and System, all displayed with accurate layout and symbols, even in reversionary mode. Additionally, there is a complete set of integrated checklists accessible via the MFD.
The engine has also undergone a major overhaul, utilizing technology from the PC-12 for improved simulation. A new custom ITT simulation more accurately reflects the real aircraft, with ITT increasing during climb and becoming limited at altitudes of 12,000-14,000 feet, depending on weather conditions. The Kodiak’s power control lever has mechanical limitations, which have been implemented to prevent fully advancing the PCL based on specific restrictions. This helps maintain torque limits, but users must still manage ITT and NG limits, as the Kodiak includes a damage model.

Next on the SimWorks Studios list is the Airvan and the MSFS2024 conversions.
