AzurPoly has been working to ensure all its aircraft remain compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, with only a few remaining bugs that Asobo is expected to have fixed in the SU1 update. The developer is also rolling out updates for the Bronco and Fouga this week, introducing static weapons now permitted in the Microsoft Marketplace. Meanwhile, work on the native FS2024 Transall aircraft is nearing completion.
Regarding the Jaguar, AzurPoly’s primary focus is on FS2024 due to the simulator’s different development environment, which makes simultaneous FS2020 development impractical. The team is implementing advanced features like interactive pre-flight checks and enhanced hydraulic and electrical systems to take advantage of FS2024’s new capabilities. An FS2020 version may be considered later, but no confirmation has been given.
AzurPoly has responded to community interest by developing a Jaguar GR1 exterior model with multiple RAF liveries. While the GR1 features distinct external differences from the Jaguar A, both versions will initially share the same cockpit due to the GR1’s significantly different avionics. A dedicated GR1 cockpit may be considered after release. The team also shared screenshots of the Jaguar flying over the Gulf desert and promised more updates as the release approaches.
