New Smyrna Beach Municipal Airport (KEVB) is located in central Florida, about 10 miles south of Daytona Beach. Similar to many Florida airports, KEVB was once a naval training airport during World War II. Today, KEVB is home to Epic Flight Academy and AirGate Aviation (FBO).
Pilots from neighboring flight schools also utilize KEVB for training. A control tower operates between 07:00-22:00 local time to handle the high volume of flight training traffic.
