MSFS24 – Development update December 5, 2024

On past wednesday there was the first developer livestream via Twitch for the new MSFS2024. With Jorg, Seb & Martial. They acknowledged the rocky launch of the new simulator, discussed improvements to our CDN infrastructure and the two stability patches (v1.1.10.0) released thus far, and also shared some details about Patch 3 which is targeted to release next week on either December 10 or December 12. The panel also reviewed the top bugs and wishlist requests as voted by the community on this official forums so far.

Some other highlights of the livestream include:

  • Matt Nischan from Working Title provided a demonstration of the new web-based Flight Planner for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
  • Jorg revealed that the next four first-party Marketplace aircraft from Microsoft (Cessna 185FCap-4 Paulistinha, and two more TBA) will be provided free to all players.
  • World Update 19: Brazil, Guyana, French Guiana, and Suriname is now targeted to release in early 2025 (either January or February).

And make a note in your agenda, Tuesday, December 10, Community Manager SeedyL will begin hosting a recurring weekly livestream on Twitch in which he’ll be playing the new MSFS 2024 Career Mode. The stream starts at 11:00am PST (1900 UTC) on the official MSFS Twitch channel.
