Aerosoft has released update v1.0.2 for the Airbus A330 CEO Base Pack in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, addressing numerous performance and functionality issues. Key fixes include adjustments to the generator behavior during engine startup, toe brake animations with the parking brake engaged, and smoother EFB pushback operations. Additionally, nose wheel animations during pushback have been corrected, and nose wheel steering issues resolved. Updates also enhance the flight management systems, such as improved F-PLN scroll logic, fixed MCDU flickering, and accurate waypoint labels for VIA legs. Pilot-defined waypoint entries, including latitude-longitude and PBX, have also been refined.
The update brings further improvements, including adding a FLEX value indicator in the EFB and MCDU PERF pages, better 3D modeling of the aircraft’s wheels, and enhanced audio quality. Aerosoft has also addressed unintended engine spool-up events tied to ATHR disconnects and updated loading tips for better usability. These refinements aim to provide a more polished and immersive experience for virtual pilots flying the A330 CEO in MSFS.
