A groundbreaking aircraft of its time, the Comet 4 resolved the structural issues of the earlier Comet 1 and emerged in 1958 as Britain’s answer to the Boeing 707. With enhanced safety, extended range, and increased passenger capacity, the Comet 4 was a hallmark of mid-century aviation, offering airlines a competitive and stylish solution for the growing demand for jet-powered, long-haul air travel. Additionally, CAS is working on an update for their J3 aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and it will be a free update. While the aircraft performs well with the new flight model, a few unexpected issues have surfaced due to differences between versions. CAS is actively refining the update to ensure a seamless experience and hopes to have a fully functional release soon.
