AzurPoly has shared an interesting public statement on their Jaguar project for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. The team has completed all artistic aspects, including 3D modeling, textures, and multiple liveries inspired by the diverse paintings used during the aircraft’s service in the French Air Force. Systems development is well advanced, with fully functional hydraulics, electrical, and fuel systems, as well as a working heads-up display with multiple modes. Engine settings and flight model tuning are being refined with the help of real-life Jaguar pilots, ensuring an authentic simulation experience.
The project, initially developed for MSFS 2020, is now being ported to MSFS 2024 to leverage the new simulator’s advanced features. Early testing reveals even more impressive visuals and enhanced realism. Screenshots from MSFS 2024 showcase the aircraft with static weapons models, which will soon be included in Marketplace packages for both simulators. The images highlight liveries such as a classic camouflage design and a special edition marking the 15th anniversary of the Jaguar in the 11th squadron. AzurPoly’s commitment to high-quality realism promises an exciting addition to the simulator community.
