MK Studios has shared important updates about their upcoming products and policies regarding Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (MSFS2024). First, they announced that LPPT Lisbon for MSFS2020 will be released this Wednesday Oct. 23rd, priced at €16.99, with a 25% discount for those who own the previous version. Buyers of the MSFS2020 version will receive a free upgrade to the MSFS2024 version.
For MSFS2024, MK Studios plans to offer free dedicated versions of all their 2024 releases. Older products will be assessed to determine if updates are needed due to differences in development techniques. While these older products may still function in the new simulator, they may not receive full support if technical issues arise. MK Studios anticipates that most users will migrate to MSFS2024 once addon compatibility is achieved.
In addition, MK Studios revealed plans to expand their European airport offerings with Zurich LSZH and Dusseldorf EDDL, with Zurich expected later this year and Dusseldorf in Q1 2025. In the US, an update for LaGuardia is planned after the completion of Terminal C, and they hinted at developing a new airport on the West Coast.
