ToLiss – Upcoming A330-900neo XP12 – New features explained

ToLiss has shared exciting updates about the upcoming A330-900 for X-Plane 12, highlighting new features designed to enhance realism and usability. One key addition is the inclusion of the Integrated Standby Control System (ISCS) directly in the tablet, allowing users to access aircraft configurations more easily. The aircraft will also include a new Head-Up Display (HUD), available exclusively in X-Plane 12, which projects essential flight data into the pilot’s forward field of view, enhancing landing experiences. Users can opt for either realistic or perfectly aligned data in the ISCS settings.

Other advanced features include the Airborne Traffic Situation Awareness (ATSAW) system, which displays real-time traffic information during flight, improving situational awareness and enabling more efficient altitude adjustments. Additionally, the Digital Radio and Audio Integrating Management System (DRAIMS) simplifies radio frequency management by combining the RMP and ACP into one interface, while also incorporating the transponder panel.

Finally, the Runway Overrun Warning & Protection System (ROW/ROPS) enhances safety by issuing warnings during unstable approaches, prompting go-arounds if necessary, and monitoring deceleration after touchdown to prevent runway overruns. It also alerts crews to potential errors, such as high thrust during taxiing or using the wrong runway. Video reviews of these features are in progress to further demonstrate their functionality.
