Train Sim World 5 has been released with a Free Starter Pack, available until October 17th, designed to introduce players to the fundamentals of locomotive operations. This pack includes access to the Training Center, allowing players to practice operating steam, diesel, and electric trains. Key in-game tools like Free Roam and Livery Designer are included, helping players explore the experience before deciding on purchasing the Standard, Deluxe, or Special Edition of TSW5. Players upgrading from previous versions of Train Sim World will be able to bring their content forward for free.
The game features three new routes: London’s West Coast Main Line, Frankfurt’s Kinzig Valley, and Los Angeles’ San Bernardino Line. Each route offers unique challenges and locomotives, such as the Class 350 in London, the DB BR 411 ICE-T in Frankfurt, and the F125 on LA’s Metrolink. The Deluxe Edition introduces additional content like the Avanti West Coast Class 390 Pendolino, FlixTrain services, and BNSF’s Cajon Pass. Whether you prefer high-speed passenger routes or heavy freight, TSW5 offers a wide variety of playstyles across its new routes.
A new gameplay mode, Conductor Mode, allows players to take on the role of a train conductor, checking tickets, operating doors, and ensuring passenger safety. TSW5 also enhances player creativity with tools like Creator’s Club and Photo Mode, alongside features like Live Map for real-time tracking and Route Hopping for fast-travel between stations. The game’s different editions cater to both newcomers and long-time fans, with expanded customization and collection options available.
