Brady, the developer of SimSolutions‘ Learjet 75 for Microsoft Flight Simulator, shared an update on Discord explaining the delays in the aircraft’s development. He revealed that he has been working full-time on the ramp to afford flight time and save for his instructor rating. Balancing work, development, personal life, and relaxation has been challenging. Brady expressed deep gratitude to the community for their ongoing support over the past three years and is excited for them to eventually add the Learjet to their hangars. He also mentioned that the development is progressing slowly, with more in-depth systems and sound sets expected to be implemented around the time of MSFS 2024’s release.
Looking ahead, Brady announced that he will begin an accelerated instructor rating program, which will take 3 to 4 weeks. During this time, he will have limited availability to work on the Learjet project. Although progress may be minimal during his absence, Brady is optimistic about the aircraft’s current state and believes it is nearly ready for another developer to take over the integration of advanced systems and sound. He remains unsure of the project’s future once he begins instructing but is pleased with the progress made so far and thanked the community again for their patience and support.
