BlueBird Simulations has provided a preview of the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) for their upcoming 757 release for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The EFB, still a work in progress, will feature full Simbrief integration and basic menus for controlling various aircraft features upon initial release. Over time, additional features will be added to make it one of the top EFBs available. While they hoped to release a video preview by now, the team is taking extra time to perfect it and plans to publish it next month.
Regarding the 757’s release date, there is no firm commitment yet. With about four months left in the year, the team is pushing hard for a release by the end of 2024 but will provide clearer guidance in mid to late October. They emphasize the importance of not rushing the development process. Additionally, work on the 767 has begun, focusing on the flight model and the 3D model. Early next year, they expect to share textured images of the 767’s progress.
