SimWorks Studios and FSReborn are collaborating on a detailed and immersive simulation of the Boeing 727 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The project, driven by a passion for vintage jets, will begin with the 727-200ADV passenger variant as the base package. This will be expanded with various affordable add-ons such as the 727-200F, 727-100, VIP, fire, oil spill control, and Zero-G ship. The 727 is being meticulously recreated using 3D scans and extensive photographic references, ensuring high fidelity in both visual and functional aspects. The cockpit will feature a mix of traditional steam gauges and modern FMC/MFD for versatility.
The aircraft will include FSReborn’s well-known immersion features and come with a dedicated effects pack from //42’s immersion effects out-of-the-box. The development is in its early stages, with the team excited to share progress as it unfolds. Additionally, upcoming updates on other projects, including the Kodiak 100 and Kodiak 900, will be provided throughout the week.
