AzurPoly has made significant progress on the Jaguar A project for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The 3D model and textures are well-advanced, thanks to support from the Musée Européen de l’Aviation de Chasse in Montélimar, which provided access to retired French Jaguar aircraft for detailed 3D scans and photos. The systems and flight model are also in development, with the aircraft already capable of takeoff and flight. Although much work remains, the team is pleased with their current pace.
The recent announcements about Flight Simulator 2024 at FlightSimExpo have excited AzurPoly, particularly the new missions which align well with their aircraft. However, they have limited information and no access to the SDK yet, leaving their strategy for updating existing products and releasing new ones, like the Jaguar, unclear. They hope to gain more information soon to communicate their plans effectively. An exciting announcement is anticipated in the near future.
