The C-140 was produced between 1946 and 1951. The 140 featured flaps, rear side windows and a full electrical system. Things that we now take for granted were truly revolutionary at that time. In the 40’s and 50’s this airplane was a window into the future of general aviation and its features made it incredibly popular.
This add-on by Aeroplane Heaven for MSFS has been getting continuous attention by the developer to make sure that we can enjoy it to the fullest capacity of the simulator. The latest 1.6.0 version has made use of the new SDK capabilities. You can conveniently download the latest version through the SimMarket App, or if you haven’t done so already, you can purchase this magnificent airplane here.
Version 1.6.0
– Complete conversion of all coded items to “new” code parameters as per latest SDK and Sim upgrade.
– Pilot hiding based on weight ( also can be done using the squab ).
– Fuel selector is now easier to use and employs a drag left or right to set.
Bugs fixed.
– Radio tuners now work as expected on the radio.
– visibility issue on the modern radios is fixed.
– electrical system reworked to allow for a game issue with engine driven alternators and we’ve tickled ( technical term ) the voltage curve slightly. Reminder – if you are running the engine under 20 % throttle and with all the lights on you will drain your battery. Check your landing lights.
– debug title in payload manager fixed.
– The start switch code re-written. Click and hold the starter.
– Removed the annoying squeak from the elevator trim which played if using auto trim in the msfs realism settings.
-removed wheel selector from the floats interior.
