Golden Age Simulations presents the Boeing Stearman Package for MSFS 2020 in a special 40th Anniversary Edition, available on SIMMARKET. This aircraft is a tribute to the iconic Stearman (Boeing) Model 75, renowned as a military trainer during the 1930s and 1940s.
With over 10,000 units built in the United States, it served the United States Army Air Forces, the United States Navy, and the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. After the war, surplus Stearmans gained popularity as crop dusters, sports planes, and performers in air shows.
The Golden Age Simulations Models featured in this package include the PT-17 N2S-3, PT-13 N2S-5, and the post-war A75L300 with a Lycoming R-680-13 engine and a Hamilton Standard 2B20 constant speed prop. All models are fully native to MSFS, coded with Microsoft Flight Simulator’s native ‘Model Behaviors’ animations and built to SDK specifications. The aircraft is designed with modern aerodynamics, compliant with MSFS native materials, and boasts high-definition PBR textures. The package includes optional crew configurations, supports Virtual Reality headsets, and features a custom installer with instructions for easy setup.
Inside the cockpit, the Boeing Stearman Package offers truly 3D virtual cockpits with accurately modeled controls and detailed texturing using full PBR materials. The Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) allows control over aircraft systems and security features, while both front and rear cockpit positions are fully operational. The aircraft comes with three variants, each with multiple liveries, and a comprehensive manual and paint kit for users to explore and customize the Boeing Stearman experience.
