Yes, just like the reaction to the first virtual cockpits back in FS98, if I am not mistaken.
FSDreamteam has explained that this has no effect whatsoever in VAS because it is only active in avatar mode and even then, when in the vicinity of the scenery area. And the collision model that prevents from walking through walls is managed outside of FS memory allocation. So, this has no impact on VAS or FPS, only in development time (I guess).
SO, imagine this technology applied to airplane models!

Nice! I believe Avatar mode is a nice feature yet a new gen of Flight Simulators should have AI humans, interacting with the human pilotr at different levels as mentioned in a post here. Copilots that can fly with you, take over some work load as in real life. Mechanics, ground staff and why not, cabin crew and passengers to manage…
