Could I benefit from this issue too having the Ifly 737 NGX ?
Much of it, probably yes, because the two are both fairly accurate representations of the aircraft, so will do things pretty much the same, as they simulate the same things. I have, however, just looked at one of the tutorials in an earlier paper issue of the magazine and it does tell you things like to go into the “FS Actions” CDU option to set fuel – the iFly doesn’t handle fuelling, loading, doors or ground connections that way. Therefore while most of the “flying a 737” parts will be very much the same between the PMDG and the iFly, you’ll have to be careful of ‘gotcha’ instructions that tell you something specific to the PMDG 737NGX.
