Flight1 Europe have been in contact again, to remind everyone about their upcoming event this weekend.
“It’s the Flight1 Open Day on Saturday 24th September and we are pleased to announce that we have made arrangements for some old friends of Flight1 to come along to help support the day.
Maurice Hammond’s pair of P51-D Mustangs, “Janie” and “Marinell” are scheduled to arrive at 12:30 and will be parked up for the afternoon, allowing us all to admire these terrific aircraft in person.
We will also have on hand an Extra 300, Cub L-4, Decathlon, Harvard and we are expecting other interesting vintage aircraft to make appearance – all subject to weather and serviceability of course.
Everything is now in place for what will be a fantastic day – a perfect blend of real and virtual aviation, surrounded by friends and colleagues new and old.
To join us (don’t forget it is all FREE) simply register at http://www.flight1.com/openday/
See you Saturday!
The Flight1 Crew.”
I’ve seen Janie up close at an airshow I was marshalling a while ago. Believe me, it’s worth the trip to see Maurice’s Mustangs, let alone anything else!
