Before anyone goes buys these FS Dreamscapes mesh products they should be aware that they do not correct for airport elevation. So many of the airports will show up on plateaus or in depressions after installation.
Promesh The Netherlands? You’ve got to be kiddin’
Why? It is just as good as ProMesh Florida, just smaller…… 🙂
Actually, I think that Promesh DOES make sense for those flat countries, at least for VFR flyers. For example, the north of germany is flat like a sheet of paper. Most variations in height are man made, like diggings in the ground, heaps of rubble, or highways that are 2m below the surrounding terrain. When these small variations are displayed in combination with the VFR Germany photoscenery, it looks extremely real.
And about airport plateaus – they are not more prominent than with a 19m mesh or 36m mesh.
I have most countries in Europe with ProMesh and especially the Version 2.0 look incredible in mountain areas or around dunes – wont want to miss them! The Problem with the airport elevation should be solved when the version 3.0 updates of the meshs will be published soon, according to the developers newsletter.
