Walking For Charity

Snowdon_CribGochScott Phillips of Just Flight writes “….. Slightly cheeky I know but members of the Just Flight and Just Trains will be tackling the Three Peaks Challenge on the 7th August to raise money for the new games industry charity GamesAid. (Photo courtesy of Three Peaks Challenge).

Martyn, Richard and Matt from the Support team will be joined by our Operations Director, Dermot, as they trek over 26 miles up and down the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales – Ben Nevis (4406ft), Scafell Pike (3206ft) and Snowdon 3560ft) – and attempt to complete this challenging trek in under 24 hours. Training walks have been going well, and all four are showing surprising  levels of fitness!

If you would like to help out with sponsorship, they would be extremely grateful for donations of any amount, all of which are guaranteed to go to deserving causes. You can make a donation here…..”.

  1. Hopefully they’ll be a little less close to the wire than my colleagues who did it last weekend for the Railway Children charity… One of them made the train back to the start line at Euston Station in London, from Ben Nevis in Scotland, by less than two minutes.

Best of luck to them… Those hills may only be ickle as Mountains go, but that doesn’t make them easy to climb!

(And no, they won’t have time to stop at the new cafe on the top of Snowdon, either. ;))
