Hi Francois,
almost €35 for the 172N complete?
CARENADO – CESSNA C172N SKYHAWK II FSX = €26,17
CARENADO – CESSNA C172N SKYHAWK II SKI FSX = €10,65
CARENADO – CESSNA C172N SKYHAWK II FLOAT FSX = €11,42
That´s €48,24!!!!
Regards
Boerries
I am lousy at math. Thanks Boerries 😉
And worth every penny
I’m sure Carenado will come up with a package deal eventually as they did for the C206.
I’m not sure why the float costs a buck more than the skis though!
I don’t think any aircraft Carenado has ever released is worth anywhere near 49 Euros, that’s $66 for Gods sake, are they crazy the world is in recession.
So you can only get the one you want and not get the ones you don’t, which means you don’t have to spend €48, but rather €27, €11 or €12. Or you can get each one as money permits, again without having to spend the entire outlay at once.
I can see what they are trying to achieve. I’m not sure it’ll work, but I can see the theory behind it. Time and sales figures will tell, I guess!
It seems like a pretty decent compromise to me. They get a little more cash for their efforts, and the users get a nice single-purpose plane for a good price. The only ones who suffer much — if you could call it that — are users who want all the variants. I like this ala carte approach, actually.
it only makes sense if they also include a package deal, like, say €35 for all three. Francois was right all along 🙂
