Flight One Software has spent thousands of hours in development to recreate this aircraft to simulate that of its real-world counterpart.   The aircraft has a long list of features that will impress any simpilot.  Some of the exterior features include: An accurate and highly detailed aircraft exterior with 6 different paint schemes, operable cabin and cargo doors with corresponding CAS messages, visible icing effects on windscreen and aircraft, and an extensive set of external camera views.

Moving to the interior of the aircraft, sim pilots will find an extensive 2D panel set with six main instrument panel views, large 2D popups of the PFD, MFD, Autopilot, Left and Right Lower Panel, and MFD Controller. The interior model also includes a highly detailed and fully functional virtual cockpit, and a cabin area that is fully animated.

The Cessna Citation Mustang wouldn’t be complete without an accurate rendition of the aircraft’s avionics and systems.  Flight One Software has recreated the Garmin G1000 Glass Avionic Suite with Mustang-specific functionality that rivals top end training software in an entertainment package.  Some G1000 highlights include: Extensive autopilot features using HDG, VOR, LOC, and GPS lateral modes.  Flight1’s custom programmed WAAS Approach System allows you to perform ILS-like approaches for non-ILS-equipped airports within the US.  Flight planning can be done independently from the FSX planner or you can automatically import FSX flight plans.
